Loves Thorn
I pray for those who fall prey to loves thorn,
Its poison so sweet.
Their reality torn.
The world melting at their feet.
Its effects distort your mind,
causing you to move without thinking.
It gives you hope in the perfect someone that you hope you will one day find,
and be able to hold them close to your being.
You do not want this feeling to fade,
for it brings you joy.
Like a since of peace covering you like shade.
But, soon, the poison will fade, and you will be shaken.
For, the hope for that perfect someone has been taken.

When you're at school thriving to get an education,
Or when you're in your office managing portfolios,
Or when you're out in the middle of an important event or presentation,
Or when even when you're just taking a break from it all

The clock is ticking when you find love...
Through the good times,
The bad times,
The ups,
The downs,
And the heart breaks

The clock is ticking on your death bed..
While you wait silently,
Ponder your life e

I don't know about the planet reflecting in the water, it is beside the current planet, not above it. But just my opinion, still beautiful.
