Description
This is Screenlet/Emerald/Compiz/RainLender at work!!!
I basically got all of this from gnome-look.org [link] heres the link [link]
the dock bar at the bottom is an AWN dock bad. You can get that by (note: this is only for ubuntu linux) typing this into your terminal:
'sudo apt-get install avant-window-navigator'
after that you do this:
systems > prefrences > AWN manager
Then click on it and you should have it.
The sidebar to the right is screenlets. its just as easy as installing the AWN dockbar.
you just type this:
'sudo apt-get install screenlets'
Then after that you just do this:
applications > accessories > screenlets
Then once you click on it the menu should show up then scroll down till you see side bar.
I used emerald to edit my themes for the border of my windows.
All you need to do is (just like the others) is to do this:
'sudo apt-get install emerald'
then after that you do this:
systems > Prefrences > Emerald Theme Manager
As to adding themes, ill make a journal about that later.
The calender is from rainlender.
here is the link [link]
download that and then add the themes. If you need help with that note me and ill answer that as soon as i can.
after that you desk top should be looking good.
If you have any questions note me and i'll answer when ever i can.
(note: there are a few things i don't know how to do. so if i cant answer your question i will lead you to a source that can, Also feel free to comment.)
